Privacy

Your words deserve care.

A plain-language summary of what this site stores.

Letters you submit

We store the title, letter body, chosen mood, date, moderation status, and a random public identifier. Approved letters may appear publicly on the shared wall without your name or an account.

Abuse prevention

To limit automated abuse, the server creates a one-way, keyed hash from a visitor’s IP address. The raw IP address is not stored in the database. A hash cannot be used by the site to display your address.

Browser data

The “Save draft” and mood check-in features use your browser’s local storage. Those entries stay on that browser until you clear them or use the discard button. They are not sent to the server.

Cookies

The API uses a short-lived, secure session cookie only to protect form submissions with a CSRF token. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Important limits

No online service can promise perfect security. Do not include names, contact details, passwords, or other identifying information in a letter. This page is a product summary, not legal advice; adapt it to your organization and jurisdiction before public launch.
